Full dress rehearsal for 75th Republic Day parade was conducted at Police Parade Ground, on Wednesday. The rehearsal was conducted in presence of Collector Deepak Kumar Saxena, Superintendent of Police Aditya Pratap Singh, Municipal Commissioner Preeti Yadav, Jila Panchayat, ASP (City), Priyanka Shukla, ASP (Rural), Suryakant Sharma and other officers concerned.

 

Senior officers inspected full dress rehearsal and sought information about final preparations and security arrangements for Republic Day function. Cabinet Minister Rakesh Singh will unfurl the national flag during main Republic Day function in Jabalpur. Besides this, several tableaux of development works and significant events will be exhibited by Government departments and educational institutions. Final rehearsal was conducted with enthusiastic participation of personnel from different departments. Collector Deepak Saxena and SP Aditya Pratap Singh took guard of honour of parade rehearsal while the Collector inspected parade as the chief guest. Reserve Inspector, Jai Prakash Arya lead the full dress rehearsal of Republic Day Parade midst melodious tunes of SAF Brass Band group.
