New Municipal Commissioner, Preeti Yadav is conducting inspection of different wards of the city regularly to ensure needed improvement in cleanliness arrangements. Even on Sunday, she conducted a surprise inspection of Raja Chowk in Rabinath Tagore Ward to examined cleanliness arrangements. During inspection, Yadav sternly instructed officials to ensure that the cleanliness arrangements are maintained at its best in any case. Even on the holiday, she visited several wards in the city to inspect the situation. The Municipal Commissioner gave clear instructions to officials that the open sale of meat and mutton should not be allowed and immediate action and fines should be imposed on those who violate the rule.
 
While instructing officials to maintain cleanliness during inspections in other areas of the city, she stressed that no heaps of garbage should be visible anywhere. With a special focus on cleanliness in every ward, cleanliness campaigns are to be conducted in every ward surrounding the city, she directed. During inspection, Municipal Commissioner Yadav spent a considerable amount of time roaming around Raja Chowk and adjoining areas. She directed officials that no leniency will be tolerated in cleanliness work under any circumstances. Yadav said presence of garbage in city is harmful to public health, hence she asked concerned officials to stay alert and maintain proper cleanliness in all 79 wards of the city.
