Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav was called on by British Deputy High Commissioner Harjinder Kang at the CM’s residence and discussed about boosting exports from Madhya Pradesh to Britain and investment in the State on Monday. It is noteworthy that Madhya Pradesh is an important exporter of processed food items and agricultural products to Britain.

 

Clothing and ready-made garments, pharmaceuticals and plastic products and packaging material are also exported from Madhya Pradesh. In the discussion, there was deliberation on increasing exports and possibilities of investment in the field of IT, food processing, apparel, automobile, health, renewable energy and tourism in the state. Dr Yadav also invited British Deputy High Commissioner Kang to participate in the Invest Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit to be held on February 7-8 in the capital.
