Bronze for Bhanot, Malik in ISSF Junior World C’ship

 

 

 

Pride of Jabalpur Gautami Bhanot has won a bronze medal in the 10-meter air rifle mixed team event at ISSF Junior World Championship 2024 held in Lima, Peru. Teaming up with Ajay Malik, the duo showcased outstanding performance and secured a bronze medal for India. This championship marks Gautami’s fifth international competition and her tenth international medal. Ajay Malik, her teammate, has trained at the Gun for Glory Shooting Academy in Jabalpur under the ambitious ‘Project Leap’ training programme. Currently, Gautami has been selected for the Khelo India programme by the Sports Authority of India (SAI). Bhanot has been training for the past five years under the guidance of Coach Nishant Nathwani at the Gun for Glory Shooting Academy Jabalpur.
