Raipur welcomed the second group of 40 Indian Army soldiers as part of a programme ‘Know Your Army’ to demonstrate military power in the city on Monday. Collector Dr Gaurav Singh warmly welcomed the soldiers at the railway station, presenting them with roses and garlanding them as a gesture of appreciation. In a heartfelt moment, the soldiers expressed their gratitude by singing patriotic songs, including the iconic “Sandese Aate Hain.” The soldiers, arriving from the Jabalpur STC on the Sarnath Express, will participate in the ‘Know Your Army in Raipur’ initiative, which aims to showcase the capabilities of the Indian Army at the Science College ground.
 
Naik Vishal Mane and Naik Rajendra Singh shared their pride in reach ing Chhattisgarh, expressing their appreciation for the warm welcome extended by the Collector and the District Administration team. Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra, District Panchayat CEO Vishwadeep, RTO Ashish Dewangan, and other officials were present during the welcome ceremony, reflecting a strong community support for the armed forces. Today’s closing event at the railway station, led by Collector Dr Gaurav Singh and attended by the army personnel, emphasized the importance of nutrition and conveyed this vital message to the public.
