Respected DCP Sir (Traffic), I am a daily commuter in West Nagpur and my request to you is to look at the smaller picture too, as in West Nagpur, the traffic conditions are pathetic, especially at Panchsheel Square here:

 

1) No Traffic constable is on duty, even during peak hours. People do not follow traffic signals and commute haphazardly, even wrong side. Traffic signals are not functional.

 

2) I fail to understand who gave permission to Panchsheel Cinema to place parking barricades for their four-wheeler (total 4 cars), as it is a single-lane car parking in front of the cinema. Anyone can park, but the cinema authorities keep the barricades as if that space is allotted to them. The Traffic Dept vehicle passes daily from that spot but no one asks them to remove the barricades, for reasons best known to them.

 

3) At Panchsheel Square, the Traffic Dept jeep comes daily and and puts jammers on all private vehicles for no parking offense, except the company vehicles which come to deliver goods at local shops, with each waiting for more than half an hour. Action must be taken against these commercial vehicles too. I sincerely request you to look into these transgressions and help the common people.
