THE Rashtrakut Tourist House, Ellora
is ready to serve the tourists on the
occasion of World Tourism Day. The
TourismDepartmentis emphasizing
on providing Star level facilities in
tourism places in coming days and
many facilities are in pipeline, said
Tourism Minister Girish Mahajan.
The World Tourism Day was inaugurated on September 27 at Sahyadri
Guest House. The Tourism Minister

Corporation by video conferencing.
Tourism Department’s Secretary
Jayashree Bhoj, Manoj Suryavanshi,
the Managing Director of Maharashtra
Tourism Development Corporation,
Dr BN Patil, Director of Tourism,
Chandrashekhar Jaiswal, MTDC
Managing Director were at this occasion.
Mahajan said that UNESCO has
included Ellora caves in the World
Heritage sites in the year 1983.
Lakhs
of tourists visit this place. Tourists
were unhappy as this place lacked
the residential facilities for tourists.
The corporation now has constructedadvancedTouristHousein4,013.13
sq. mtr. area. It has 20 rooms,2dormitories, 1 restaurant, 1 kitchen,
reception etc. Jayashri Bhoj, the
Secretary toTourismDepartmentsaid,
The Rashtrakut Tourist House will
make best arrangements for the
tourists visiting for Ellora caves and
Ghrishneshwar visit.
The foreigner
tourists will get opportunity to live in
the vicinity of the caves and the
tourists will chose to live here as this
place is closer to Chhatrapati
Sambhaji Nagar.
Manojkumar Suryavanshi, the
Managing Director said that, “There

there is a world class tourist centre in
the vicinity.” The management of
