MKH Sancheti Junior College boys and LAD College girls, representing Nagpur NMC won the Divisional U-19 basketball titles and got qualified for the Maharashtra State Schools Basketball Championship scheduled at Kolhapur. In the divisional level finals held at Shivaji Nagar Gymkhana courts on Monday afternoon, LAD College (NMC) defeated Delhi Public School (Kamptee) 25-7. Riddhi Borkar (9) and Mitali Kohale (8) were the scorers for the winners. For DPS Kamptee Road (Rural), Devashree Karale scored four points. The quarterwise score was 6-0, 8-0, 8-0, 3-7. In boys section, MKH Sancheti (Nagpur NMC) defeated NH College Bramhapuri, Chandrapur Rural 66-33. Shashank Ghadge scored a game high of 23 points while Neil Dhargawe scored 13 and Tejas Talmale 11. For Chandrapur, Piyush Mahore (15) was the main scorer.
