SPORTSPERSONS of Saraswati Vidyalaya brought laurels to the school by winning several medals in the District Sports Office organised sports events. In the inter-school ball badminton competition which was held at TBRANS Mundle English Medium school, the Under-19 girls emerged winners and were selected for Division-Level meet to be held at Gadchiroli. The team members include Mehek Jain, Srushti Karmore, Huzeefa Sheikh, Arpita Saraf, Bhumi Bhailot, Nishita Bakre. In the skating event at NIT Daga Lay Out, Raj Chauhan finished first in Inline Rink Race, 1000m, 500m and third in Road Race and qualified for divisional tournament.

 

In the divisional-level fencing held at Bhandara, Utkarsh Warade (U14) finished third in Epee event and is selected for the State meet. In swimming at NIT Pool, U17 players including Prasanna Gunffawar (200m freestyle gold, 400m freestyle gold, 800m silver), Tisha Rahile breast stroke 50m gold, 200m gold, 100m butterfly silver) got selected for divisional-level meet. Similarly, the Under-17 boys finished second in 4x100m relay (Neer Jaiswal, Prassanna Gunffawar, Bhavesh Dumbare, Rehnash Dhargave) and also got selected for divisional level competition.
