‘Tourism Policy of Maharashtrais aimed at boosting tourism’

 

 

ECONOMIC& Finance Forum of Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA)organised an interactive session on ‘Incentive in Tourism Sector (As per Tourism Policy of Maharashtra–2024) on Wednesday atVIA Auditorium in Civil Lines. Prashant Sawai, DeputyDirectorofDirectorate ofTourism,GoM,Nagpur gave an overview on the policy. CA Prakalp Sarda said that TourismPolicyofMaharashtra - 2024 is a comprehensive initiative aimed at boosting thetourism sector in the state.

 

The objective of the policyis to bring fresh Private investment into the tourism sectorof nearly Rs1lakh crorein next10 years with fresh jobs of around 18 lakh. Earlier, CANaresh Jakhotia gave memento and bouquet to PrashantSawai and the speaker.DarpanSharma, Project Coordinatormade theopeningremarksandintroduced the speakers. CASachinJajodia summed up thesession and proposeda formal vote of thanks.
