The Indian Railways has announced an exciting development for Madhya Pradesh with introduction of three upgraded Vande Bharat Express trains, set to run from Bhopal soon. Sources said that these railways are expected to start from mid of November or December. This initiative will significantly enhance connectivity between Bhopal and key state capitals across the country. Notably, maintenance of these new trains will take place at Rani Kamalapati Railway Station (RKMP) in Bhopal.

One of the new Vande Bharat Express will feature a premium sitting coach, while the other two will have sleeper coaches. Specifically, a sitting coach train will operate between Bhopal and Lucknow and a sleeper coach train will connect Bhopal and Patna. Sleeper Vande Bharat trains will comprise 16 coaches, while Bhopal-Lucknow service will have 8 coaches. The sleeper version will include 11 AC 3-tier coaches, 4 AC 2-tier coaches, and 1 AC first-class coach, accommodating a total of 823 passengers. Contd on page 2
