TO MARK the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, the Lions Club Nagpur Heritage and Lions Club Nagpur Health City recently organised a blood donation camp at Keshav Hospital, Manewada Chowk. The camp was part of a service week by Lions International District 3234 H1. Expressing his view on the occasion, Dr Ashish Khandelwal highlighted the health benefits of blood donation, such as reducing the risk of heart disease and cancer by controlling iron levels.Amedical check-up was conducted for all donors.
