MAIRA Resort and Convention Centre has introduced its latest culinary delight with the grand opening of The Shack, an open-air Pan-Asian fusion restaurant. Managing Director of Maira Resort and Convention Centre Mukta Agrawal was the chief guest at the inaugural programme and Director Ajay Agrawal’s daughter Aarnavi Agrawal cut the ribbon and inaugurated the open air Pan-Asian fusion restaurant. Vice-President Chandrabir Chaudhary and celebrity chef Ajay Chopra were also present. Inauguration of The Shack restaurant marks a significant addition to the resort’s luxurious offerings. Speaking at the event, Vice President Chandrabir Chaudhary said, “The Shack brings a unique blend of flavours and experiences, elevating Maira Resort’s reputation as a top-tier destination for both leisure and dining.”
 
He emphasised the restaurant’s ambiance, highlighting the stunning lakeside views and open-air setting designed for premium, relaxed dining. General Manager Saurabh Choksi added, “Our goal was to create an environment where guests can enjoy not only exceptional food but also the perfect serene environment. The Shack’s fusion menu and its lakeside location provide the ideal combination for memorable dining.” Head Chef Rakesh Rana stated, “We have curated a menu that offers a contemporary take on Asian cuisine, balancing traditional flavours with modern presentation. Our dishes are designed to complement the setting, enhancing the overall experience for our guests.” Sharinh his views, F&B Manager Rajan Ojha noted, “With an extensive selection of cocktails, fine wines and premium cheeses, The Shack offers a culinary journey unlike any other in the region. It’s an experience that goes beyond food—it’s about creating lasting memories.”
 
The Street Shack menu includes wada pav spring roll, chaat cornetto, dabeli croquette, aloo matar ki chaat and palak paneer chaat. In the Satay Shack the offerings include sriracha paneer satay, teriyaki potato satay, BBQ Korean chicken skewers, Balinese chicken satay and grilled chicken skewers. The cuisine in the special menu includes chiken gyoza, prawn har gow, chicken shumai, vegetable srystal dumplings, veg gyoza, cream cheese dumplings, smoky chilli paneer tikka, peri, peri tandoori aloo, Peshwani chicken tikka, bhut jolokia chicken tikka, mustard fish tikka, mutton seekh kebab, jalapeno popper, onion rings, shack nachos, Cajun grilled chicken, and many more. The Shack promises to set a new standard for luxury dining at Maira Resort.
