Mayor Jagat Bahadur Singh reviewed the progress of works being carried out by three key departments of Jabalpur Municipal Corporation (JMC), on Monday. At the outset he reviewed the works of Public Works Department (PWD). During the meeting, the Mayor directed senior officials to initiate without any delay the projects funded by the Corporators’ budget. The Mayor sought updates on patchwork repairs and instructed the officials to expedite the ongoing patchwork works, keeping in mind the convenience of the citizens. He emphasised that these works should be expedited both at the divisional and headquarters levels. Mayor Singh further asked the officials to personally supervise and ensure the timely commencement and completion of all ongoing and proposed infrastructure and development projects with the highest quality standards.

 

Later, he reviewed the works of the Health and Garden Department of the JMC. The Mayor directed officials to bring about qualitative improvements in departmental operations with transparency. During the meeting, he praised the Health Department team for maintaining excellent cleanliness during the Navratri festival and Dussehra processions. He congratulated them for their excellent work and encouraged them to continue maintaining the city’s cleanliness with the same level of commitment. Senior officials present on the occasion were Superintending Engineer Kamlesh Shrivastava, Deputy Commissioner Sambhav Ayachi, Executive Engineers Shailendra Mishra, Aditya Shukla, Health Officer Sandeep Jaiswal and other officials.
