THE Terminator Vipra School Championship Trophy-4 organised by Terminator Cricket Academy reached an interesting stage with four teams qualifying for the semifinals here on Tuesday.
With the win in respective match, Rajkumar College, NH Goel School, Gyan Sarita
and Sukradaya School entered the semifinal round.
A thrilling game took place between Rajkumar College and Dronacharya Public School in the first match of the day. Rajkumar College won the toss and elected to bat first and dominated the proceedings with Aarav Gupta scoring an impressive 82 runs, Shrestha Sagar contributing 45 runs and Captain Saksham Rungta adding 47 runs to the massive score of 301 runs in its quota of 20 overs. Dronacharya Public School’s bowler Pandey claimed two wickets. In reply, Dronacharya Public School struggled to keep pace with the daunting target of 302 runs.
Despite a valiant effort from Shorish Tiwari, who scored 57 runs, and Captain Swayam Pandey contributing 35 runs, the team was bowled out for 112 runs in 16.3 overs. Apurv Dewangan of Rajkumar College was exceptional taking five wickets and leading his team to a dominating victory by 189 runs. He was named Man of the Match for his brilliant bowling performance. In another match of the competition, Shukradaya Vidya Niketan School defeated Adarsh Vidyalaya by 81 runs. In another amtch, Holy Cross School-Kapa emerged victorious against RD Tiwari School winning by 60 runs.
As the tournament reaches the semi-final stage, four teams, Rajkumar College, NH Goel School, Gyan Sarita School and Shukradaya Vidya Niketan School have qualified for the clash to decide the teams for the finals. As scheduled, the semi-final round will have Rajkumar College versus Gyan Sarita School, while Shukradaya Vidya Niketan will face NH Goel World School on Wednesday. Excitement is building as the competition nears to its conclusion, with all eyes on which team will emerge champion in the Terminator Vipra School Champions Trophy, Season-4.
