Narmada Mahotsav Minister Rakesh Singh fetes CEO Singh, anchor Dr Mairal for remarkable work

Public Works Department Minister Rakesh Singh honoured Chief Executive Officer, Jabalpur Archaeology and Cultural Council Hemant Singh and popular anchor Dr Girish Mairal for their remarkable contribution during Narmada Mahotsav 2024.
Principal of Government Girls’ High School, Vehicle Factory Jabalpur, nationally acclaimed anchor and art lover Dr Girish Mairal was felicitated for his excellent anchoring in his 8775th programme. Dr Mairal was compering in Narmada Mahotsav since 21 years. PWD Minister Rakesh Singh felicitated him by presenting a shawl, shriphal and a memento. Simultaneously, CEO, JACC, Hemant Singh was also honoured for his contribution in successfully organising Narmada Mahotsav since 21 years.
PWD Minister Singh appreciated both CEO Singh and Dr Mairal for their sincere contribution and determination to organise the festival.
They both were involved in the preparations from tip to toe to ensure success of the festival months before it is organised. Because of their unparallel efforts, Narmada Mahotsav becomes a festival of national repute.
Both CEO Singh and Dr Mairal are retiring in 2025. Others present were MLA Bargi, Neeraj Singh, former Nagar Panchayat President Anil Tiwari, CMO, Nagar Panchayat, Jhariya and other officers concerned.
MLA Rohani said that the fame of Narmada Mahotsav is increasing day by day due to dignified cultural programmes and appealed to maintain these ideal standards in future as well. During final presentations of the closing day of Narmada Mahotsav, playback singer Hariharan, who is famous for his heart touching ghazals and Bollywood songs, spread the magic of his gifted voice.
On the second day of the Mahotsav, colourful fireworks on Sharad Pournima remained the centre of attraction.
