Book ‘Beeji’, a book of story collection, was released at the Bastar Chamber of Commerce Auditorium in Jagdalpur recently. Litterateur Dr Rajaram Tripathi was the chief guest at the function. Director of Chhattisgarh Academy of Administration Trilok Chand Mahavar presided over the function. B R Naidu, K Paresh, and renowned storyteller Urmila Acharya were present. Director of Srijan Bimb Prakashan Reema Diwan Chadha conducted the proceedings of the programme. The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and garlanding of the Saraswati idol. Following a warm welcome of the guests, author Karamjeet Kaur presented the preface to her collection Beeji, expressing that through this book, she was able to convey the emotions of her inner self. She dedicated the book to her mother and husband. In his address, Trilok Chand Mahavar praised the collection, calling it essential in today’s technical era, where society is becoming increasingly insensitive.
 
In his address, Dr Rajaram Tripathi admired Karamjeet’s stories, describing them as full of human sensitivity, capable of touching the reader’s heart and inspiring them towards becoming a better person. Lalita Yadav, Vandana Bhadauria, Jyoti Chauhan, Subhash Pandey, Yogendra Motiwala, Kishore Parekh, Vipin Bihari Das, Dharmendra Thakur, Sanat Jain, Mohini Thakur, Narendra Padhi, Anita Raj, Madhu Kushwaha, Kavita Bijoliya, Purnima Saroj, Dr Murti, Bharat Gangaditya, Shashank Shende, Brajesh Bhadauria, Dr Akhilesh Tripathi and others were present.
