Nagpur fighters win medals in Shaolin Kung Fu Championship

 

 

SEVEN young fighters of Warrior Monks Martial Arts Academy in Nagpur won six gold and a bronze medal at 10th State Level Shaolin Kung Fu Championship in Mumbai, recently. The event, organised by the Shaolin Martial Arts Association of India, saw Nagpur fighters dominating the tournament raining in gold medals in various weight categories. Heunsamle Daime fought in 40-45 kg category bagging a gold medal. Jorena Chakma won a gold in 30-35 kg weight class while Heguangramlungle Nriame, Rakshit Sunidha, Sumedh Suhas Dhaware and Pranav Shobhane also won yellow metals in 35- 40 kg, 40-45 kg, 35-40 kg and 60-65 kg weight categories respectively. Kimichira Sangma fought in 45-50 kg weight class and bagged a bronze. The fighters were trained by Shifu Kaustubh Golatkar of Nagpur.
