THE Nagpur District Auto Chalak-Malak
Mahasangh, representing the East,
South, and Central Nagpur divisions,
held a joint divisional meeting at
HanumanMandirSamajBhavanrecently. The event was chaired by Mohandas
Naidu, senior leader with Charandas
Wankhede, General Secretary and other prominent members were present.
During the meeting, Wankhede
emphasized theneed for auto drivers to
unite for their judicial rights. He highlighted the Maharashtra Government’s
allocation of Rs 50 crore for the Auto
Rick shaw and Metered Taxi Driver
Welfare Board. Offline membership
forms for the Welfare Board were distributed free of charge.
The event also addressed the challengesposedbye-rickshaws ande-challans, urging drivers to stand togetherin
future struggles.
