THE Biomedical Engineering and Technology Innovation Centre (BETiC) at GHRaisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur, organised a two-day Medical Device Hackathon: MEDHA 2024 under the mentorship of BETiC, IIT Bombay; BETiC, VNIT Nagpur; and Clinical Partners AIIMS, Nagpur. The event received a good response, attracting 37 participantsfromvariousmedicalandengineeringinstitutes. Teams of four participants, including a medical doctor, design engineer, and specialists in mechanical / manufacturing / material engineering and electronics / electrical / computer science, presented their working proatotypes. Dr Sachin Untawale, Director of GHRCE, Nagpur, inaugurated the programme.
 
The programme was coordinated by Prof. Suraj Dudhe andtheorganisingteamunder the guidance of Dr Sachin Untawale, Director of GHRCE, Nagpur; Dr Santosh Jaju, Deputy Director and Dean (R&D),GHRCE,Nagpur;andDr Pramod Walke, Deputy Director & Dean Academics, GHRCE, Nagpur. The BETiC teamexpresseditsgratitudeto Chairman Sunil Raisoni.
