THE national seminar and workshop
on Marma Vigyan commenced at Shri
Ayurved Mahavidyalaya in Nagpur,
highlighting the importance of integrating modern technical knowledge
with Ayurveda. Vaidya Jayant
Devpujari, President of the National
Commission for Indian System of
Medicine, emphasised this integration, announcing a collaborative training initiative with IIT Jodhpur for
selected students.
The inaugural event, honouring
Vaidya Ramnarayan Sharma, was
attendedbynotable figuresincluding
SureshSharmaof Baidyanath Ayurved
Bhawanand Dr Milind Nikumbh,Vice Chancellor of the Maharashtra Health
Sciences University. Vaidya Govind
Prasad Upadhyay discussed Vaidya
Sharma’s contributions to Ayurveda,
while Principal VaidyaBrijeshMishra
outlined the seminar's objectives.
The dignitaries released a souvenir
and the book “Daivavyapashraya
Chikitsa” by Dr Brijesh Mishra. The
event was conducted by Vaidya Shilpa
Varade appealing to doctors, teachers, and students from across the
country to fosteracollaborative environment for the future of Ayurvedic
medicine.
