A RAS Garba competition, ‘Shardotsav,’ organised by Shree Gujarati Samaj, took place at Suresh Bhatt Auditorium, Reshimbagh. The event featured ten groups showcasing traditional Garba performances. Lohana Seva Mandal secured the first prize, followed by Dasha Sorthia Vanik Samaj in second place, and Prem Leela Group in third. The best dress award went to Kachhi Veesa Oswal Samaj, informs a press release issued here.

 

The event began with a lamp-lighting ceremony, attended by key figures like Jitendra Karia, President, Rajesh Vasani, Vice President, among others. Judges included Pooja Khandelwal and Mamta Kabra. The competition was a cultural celebration, with the community coming together to make it a success.
