Dr Narnaware said that a thorough understanding of physiology is necessary to find out the effects of hormones and neuronal processes in the brain on food intake regulation 
 
RASHTRASANT Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University’s (RTMNU) Post Graduate Department of Zoology organised a lecture session recently. Dr Raj Narnaware, Associate Professor of the Department of Nursing Foundation and Science of MacEwan University in Canada; Dr Prashant Bokare, Vice Chancellor RTMNU; Dr V T Dhurve, Head of Department, and Dr Suresh Masram, Vice President of Zoology Society, were present. Dr Narnaware speaking on the topic ‘Brain Regulation of Food Intake: Research in Life Sciences and its Future Prospects’, elaborated on how food intake interacts with the brain and immune system.
 
He said that a thorough understanding of physiology is necessary to find out the effects of hormones and neuronal processes in the brain on food intake regulation. Along with this, he gave information through digital presentation about how the syllabus should be in the first, second, third and fourth year. Aditya Kadbe, Secretary Zoological Society, presented the academic report of the department. Dr Suresh Masram conducted proceedings and Prachi Rathod proposed the formal vote of thanks.
