SHREE Saitwal Jain Sanghatan Mandal, Pulak Manch Parivar, and Akhil Digambar Jain Saitwal Sanstha, organised a programme‘Our State, Our Culture’ recently at Mahavir Nagar in the city. Renowned chef Vishnu Manohar, Satish Jain Pendhari, President of Shri Digambar Jain Sengan Mandir, Rajendra Nakhate, National Joint Secretary of Akhil Digambar Jain Saitwal Sanstha, and Pratibha Nakhate, President of Mahila Manch, and others were present. On then occasion, a unique competition was held for the participants in which women wore costumes from different States including Odisha, Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Assam and Bihar showcasing the rich culture of various state in the country.

 

The objective of the competition was to highlight the country’s unity in diversity. Dhanashree Kapse won the first prize, Mitali Chowdhary got second prize and Kiran Vitalkar won the third prize. The judges of the competition were Sanjay Bhakare and SangeetaTekade. Shubhangi Lambade conducted the proceedings of the event while Manisha Nakhate proposed the formal vote of thanks.
