Batra hits unbeaten ton for Indian Warriors

Captain Aaryaan Batra cracked a huge unbeaten century to help Indian Warriors register a seven-wicket win over JS RIDERS in the ongoing SB City College Cricket Academy U14 Premier League Tournament at SB City College ground. This was Batra’s second notable performance after his match-winning 86 against Bahadura Warriors earlier in the competition. Opener Batra’s undefeated 131 from 104 balls was the cornerstone of Indian Warrior’s win after they chased down the target of 256 put up by JS Riders, in 31.1 overs. Batra’s knock had 14 boundaries and three sixes. With this century Batra is leading the run scorer’s chart with 296 runs from five innings at a strike rate of 115.18. JS Riders’ Priyesh Bhujade (50), Aaradhy Kosewar (71) and captain Aarush Waghade (61*) helped their side post a competitive 254-4 from 35 overs. For Indian Warriors, Gaurav Wani took two wickets. In reply, Batra carried his bat through and got support from wicketkeeper Sharvil Kumbhare who scored 74 runs and a valuable 14 from Anmol Bhojwani which helped them take their team through.
