DUE to carelessness of people, it is common to see garbage everywhere and on Wednesday, the budget of cleanliness has raised from Rs 70 lakh to Rs 6 crore. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain cleanliness so funds should be used for development of wards across Risali Municipal Corporation (RMC) stated MP Vijay Baghel. He was speaking as chief guest at concluding of Cleanliness Fortnight programme in RMC. MLA of Durg-Rural constituency, Lalit Chandrakar and Mayor of RMC, Shashi Sinha.
 
They felicitated Safai Mitras and winner of several contests which were organised by RMC. MLA of Durg Rural informed that today in economy, India stands at 5th position but in cleanliness, nation is still struggling and there is need to bring awareness amongst people of the civic body and entire district. Mayor of RMC, Shashi Sinha welcomed the guests. Speaker of RMC, Keshav Banchor, Opposition of Leader, Shailendra Sahu, MP representative Deepak Chandrakar, Shailendra Pandey and all of MIC members consist of Dr Seema Sahu, corporators Dharmendra Bhagat, Rama Sahu and others were present. Commissioner of RMC, Monica Verma proposed the vote of thanks. Vijay Bahgel released the pamphlet published by brand ambassador of RMC, Kawar Narendra. Civic Body has felicitated brand ambassadors of cleanliness, Dr Sonali Chakraborty, DP Deshmukh, Ashok Maheshwari, Pradeep Sahu and others at the hands of Commissioner of RMC, Monica Verma. S Verma was felicitated for changing wet waste into manure. Swachh Mitra were felicitated.
