AS Apart of co-curricular activities,a national level event
“TEXOTICA 2K24” was recently organised by the Textile
Student’s Association (TSA).
On the occasion of“ Cotton and
Handloom Day”, Government
Polytechnic Nagpur received
entries from various institutes
such as VGTI Mumbai, SGGS
Nanded , DKTE Ichalkaranji,
JDIT Yavatmal, MJH Nagpur,
Etc. This event included various competition, Technical
Business idea, Paper
Presentation, Poster
Competition, Chess and
Rangoli making competition.
Chief guest of the event was
Textile Commissioner
Avishyant Panda while guests
of honour were Seema Pande,
Regional Director, Textile
Commissioner, Dr Manoj
Daigavane, Joint Director,
Directorate of Technical
Education, Nagpur and Dr
Rajendra Mogre, Principal,
Government Polytechnic
Nagpur.
The programme was
organised by Dr CPKapse,
Head of Textile Department,
Government Polytechnic
Nagpur; Coordinated by Dr S
G Gaikwad and Prof. Lipika
Chakraborty.
Dr Chanduraj Kapse highlighted various activities conducted by the Textile
Department.
In his address Avishyant
Panda highlighted the Textile
Policy, which is beneficial to
new entrepreneurs and textile
industry. He also highlighted
the need of research, sustainable development,innovation
andnewproductdevelopment
by the faculty and students.
