Washim District has geared up to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi who will inaugurate the ‘Banjara Virasat’ Nangara Bhavan at Pohradevi at Manora taluka in Washim District, which is the place of worship of the Banjara community, on October 5 at 10 am. As the Prime Minister is coming to Pohradevi for the first time, there is great enthusiasm among the Banjara community members. Governor C P Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Ajit Pawar, organiser of the programme and Guardian Minister of Yavatmal-Washim Sanjay Rathod, cabinet ministers, MPs, MLAs, Banjara community representatives from various states, etc will be chiefly present. It may be mentioned that, PM Narendra Modi will reach Pohradevi by a special helicopter at 10 am on Saturday. After reaching here, he will visit the Jagdamba Temple, the samadhisthan of Sant Sewalal Maharaj and Guru Ram Rao Bapu Maharaj. Nangara Bhavan will also be inaugurated by him. He will address the public in the main meeting organised after this programme. Pohradevi is famous as Kashi place of Banjara community.

The samadhi of religious leader Ram Raobapu Maharaj and the famous temple of Jagdamba Devi are located here. Every year lakhs of devotees come here to take darshan. Therefore, with the view that everyone who comes here should have a complete view of the Banjara community across the country, a grand five-storey Nangara Vastu Museum, which shows the history, traditions and culture of the Banjara community, has been built here under the Pohradevi Development Plan and with the special efforts of Sanjay Rathod, the public leader, the state soil and water conservation minister and the guardian minister of Yavatmal-Washim district. has been realized.
 
In 2018, Bhoomipujan was performed for this Vastu collection. Today this museum has been created as a world class. The Banjara Coordinating Committee has appealed that citizens should attend this program at 9 am for security reasons. A 150-feet high Sevadhwaj, an equestrian statue of Sant Sewalal Maharaj has been erected. There will be a light and sound show with laser everyday from 7 pm. It takes about 90 minutes to visit this museum. After the inauguration by PM Narendra Modi on Saturday, October 5, the invitees will be allowed to visit the museum from 2 pm. After that, the museum will be opened to tourists every day. 
 
PM Modi performs virtual bhoomipujan of water supply scheme
 
The virtual bhoomipujan of water supply scheme at Cultural Bhavan in Jalgaon Jamod, was performed by PM Narendra Modi on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. On this occasion Tehsildar Pawan Patil, Chief Officer Dr Prashant Shelke, former Municipal Council President Ramdas Bambatkar, Dr Krishnarao Taide, Prof Rajesh Gotechan, former Corporator Kailas Dove, Anil Jaiswal, Balu Patil, Sakharam Tade, Hanumant Deshmukh, Kailas Patil were present. At the outset, tributes were paid to Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. Dr Prashant Shelke delivered the introductory remarks, Mokase conducted the proceedings. A large number of functionariesof Bharatiya Janata Party, Shiv Sena (Shinde), Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar) and were also present.
