A delegation of the BJP leaders reached the police station to file a complaint, accusing Mitendra Singh of mocking the State’s most popular Ladli Bahna Scheme and posting a misleading video on social media targeting Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav
 
Senior leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party and office bearers of Legal Cell of the party, late on Wednesday night filed a complaint at Omti police station against State President of Youth Congress Mitendra Singh for allegedly posting a misleading video on a social media platform. In the complaint, the BJP leaders have demanded that the video be completely removed and have called for permanent suspension of Mitendra Singh’s X (formerly Twitter) account. They also urged strict legal action against him. A delegation from the BJP reached the police station to file a complaint, accusing Mitendra Singh of mocking the State’s most popular Ladli Bahna Scheme and posting a misleading video on X targeting Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav.
 
The delegation stated that such mockery of a constitutional figure like the Chief Minister falls under the category of sedition. In the complaint they mentioned that the language used in the video is intended to disrupt peace in Madhya Pradesh and infuse fear among public. They also accused the Congress leader of conspiring to tarnish the State’s reputation on a national level through the video. BJP leaders demanded immediate removal of the video, permanent suspension of Mitendra Singh’s X account and stringent legal action against him. Those present on the occasion were advocates Rahul Shrivastava, Nishat Jain, Sujeet Sahu, Ishan Nayak, Umesh Sahu and other party workers.
