BJP leader Omprakash alias Munna Yadav, and his two sons have been booked by Dhantoli Police for using criminal force against officers while they were performing their duties. Yadav allegedly threatened police at the Dhantoli Station and created a ruckus when he and his brother rushed to the station to lodge complaints against each other following a brutal clash at their home near Ajni Square on Sunday night. The accused have been identified as Omprakash alias Munna Yadav, and his sons, Karan and Arjun. According to the police, Yadav engaged in a violent altercation with his brother Bala Yadav at their residence on Saturday, involving weapons. They even attempted to attack each other at the police station. On Saturday night, Karan and Arjun were attacked with weapons and sticks by Bala Yadav’s sons and their accomplices. Supporters of Karan and Arjun also retaliated.

Two vehicles (MH-31/FX-1700 and MH-40/AR-4455) were damaged during the altercation. Shortly after, the two groups left in separate vehicles and arrived at the Dhantoli Police Station, where they continued to insult each other. Police seized sharp weapons, including an axe, from one of the vehicles. Upon reaching the police station, a quarrel broke out between Karan, Arjun, and members of the opposing party: Avdhesh Yadav, Abhishek Yadav, Aryan Yadav, and Sumit Yadav. As the police intervened, Arjun verbally abused the on-duty personnel. Meanwhile, Munna Yadav arrived at the station and also began to verbally assault the officers, even threatened them with violence. Other officers attempted to calm him down. Later, when the police were taking the injured sons of Bala Yadav to the hospital, Munna approached the police vehicles again and threatened the officers with dire consequences. A case has been registered against Munna and his sons under Sections 132, 352, 351(3), and 3(5) of the BNS. Munna and his sons were arrested by the police and later released after serving notices.
