Central Railway holds ‘Kalasagar’ artcontest for employees, their children

 

 

UNDER the guidance of Namita Tripathi, Divisional Railway Manager,Central Railway (CR) an inter-divisional artcompetition titled ‘Kalasagar’ was held at Gunjan Hall, Central Railway Auditorium, recently.The event aimed to encourage railway employees and their children to showcase their artistic talents.

 

The competition was inaugurated by Uday Bharti, Mandal Personnel Officer and Sweta Choria, Mandal Personnel Officer, who lit the traditional lamp. On the occasion, Bharti emphasised that the Mandal Cultural Organisation of Nagpur organises suchevents topromoteemployeesand their children in the arts, providing them with opportunities to participate in larger competitions in the future. A total of 42 participants demonstrated their creativity by taking part in various art contests during the event.Thewinnersandallparticipants were honoured by G V Jagtap, Upper Mandal Rail Manager, recognising their efforts and encouraging further participation.
