BMC’s Mayor-in-Council meeting held

 

In meeting of Mayor in Council (MiC) of Bhilai Municipal Corporation (BMC), senior MiC member of civic body, Laxmipati Raju presided over the meeting and total six proposals were presented in the meeting. Of all proposals, construction of Material Recovery Centre and purchase of Sewer and Drain Jetting Machine were highlighted in the meeting. Through Material Recovery Centre, generate waste will be segregated and after segregation, waste will be recycled to make manure for gardening and plantation purposes. The BMC will purchase Sewer and Drain Jetting Machine worth of 104.7 lakh rupees to clean up sewer and drains across different wards of the civic body. It will help to clean sewerage in better manner.

 

The self-help groups and their members in 9 SLRM centres will get this assignment to improve the sewerage and drains of the civic body. In meeting, a proposal was also presented where location of community hall which was proposed to construct near Mini Mata Garden of Nehru Nagar Ward No-4 to place near Commercial Complex Nehru Nagar. In Zone-3, corporation will also construct Sewer Line, Sewage Pumping and Transformer as well as pumps and presented proposals related to it. Sandeep Nirankari, Shiju Anthony, Saket Chandrakar, A Banchhor, Keshav Choubey, Chandrashekhar Gawai, Malti Thakur, Lalchand Verma, Additional Commissioner, Ashok Dwevedi, Corporation Secretary, Narendra Kumar Banjare, Zone Commissioner Satish Yadav, Engineer Akhilesh Chandrakar, Arvind Sharma, Ravi Sinha, Vineeta Verma, Arpit Banjare, Health Officer Javed Ali, Ajay Shukla and others were also present in the meeting.
