NVCC celebrates Diwali Milan with fanfare

 

 

THE Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce, one of the leading body of traders in the region, on Saturday celebrated Diwali Milan at Rajwada Palace, Gandhisagar in the city with great fanfare. On the occasion, the chamber honouredDirector of Khan Steel Centre Private Limited AmirullahKhan; JagdishMihani of Director of Swad Tea; and Sudarshan Shende, Managing Director ofVithoba Industries, with “Maharashtra Gaurav Puruskar”. Apart from this,thechamber alsopresentedlife timeachievementawards toPahilajSachani, Director of Shree Ganesh Builders Limited; and Laxmichand Thawani of Novelty Marketing.

 

The chamber also felicitated Sweta Chopda, Director of Indulgence; Sagar Ahuja of Ahuja Pen Mart; Ashish Kewalramai,DirectorofAshish NX; Jitu Belani, Director of Maan Medical. Addressing the gathering, President of the Nag Vidarbha Chamber of CommerceArjundas Ahuja highlightedsome of the issues of traders. “Even as the Government hasabolishedLocalBodyTax (LBT), many traders are stillreceivingnotices from the department. We request the Government toend this department as soon aspossible and provide relief tothe traders,” he added.
