Vivekand Society honours Dr Gupta

 

 

DR DILIP Gupta, President of Swami Vivekanand Medical Mission,was conferred with the prestigious Late Chhotubhaiya Dhakras MemorialAward at the hands of Dr Shankar Rao Tattwawadi,Senior Pracharak of RashtriyaSwayamsevakSangh. The award, instituted by the Vivekanand Nagari Sahakari Pratyaya Sanstha, Nagpur, carriesacashprizeofRs 51,000 and a memento.

 

The ceremony,held at Chitnis Park, was graced by renowned singer Bela Shende, President ofVivekanand Nagari Sahakari Pratyaya SansthaVivek Jugade; Vice President MaheshAndhare; Directors SudhirDaftari, Kalyan Divan, IshwarParchaki, Madhu Gaur, DrRadhika Murkute, Dr Madhuri Indurkar and Deepak Barad. Addressing the gathering, Vivek Jugade, shed light on thelife and contributions of Chhotubhaiya Dhakras. DrShankar Rao Tattwawadi, thechief guest,emphasized thesignificant contributions of Chhotubhaiya Dhakras to varioussectorsofsociety. Theevent also featured a musical performance by renowned singersBela Shende and Indian Idol fame Amey Date, whichenthralled the audience.
