Eleven day long ‘Swadeshi Mela’ Damoh was inaugurated at Tehsil ground in a graceful function. This fair inaugurated on Nov 14 would end on Nov 24. The chief guest on the occasion was Minister of State for Animal Husbandary and Daily department Lakhan Patel. The special guests were National Joint Convenor, Swalambi Bharat Abhiyaan Jitendra Gupta, MLA Jayant Kumar Malaiya, Chairperson of State OBC Commission Dr Ramkrishna Kusumarua, National Joint Convenor , Swdeshi Jagran Manch Satish Kumar.

 

The chief guests and distinguished guests inaugurated the fair by lighting traditional lamp. In this fair organising committee has brought many new concepts to involve people with Swadeshi concept. Rural life, environment has been showcased primarily in this fair. A grand replica of artefact of Lord Ramlall Mandir of Ayodhya and replica of Lord Ramlalla has been displayed which is major attraction among visitors . Indigenous products, food items, entertainment, have been arranged at this fair. The organising committee members have informed that this fair aims to promote rural industries and to promote indigenous products.
