Teachings, messages of Guru Nanakji will guide us for ages: CM Yadav

Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav bowed his head in the Gurudwara located in Arera Colony on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti and congratulated the Sikh community on Guru Nanak Jayanti on Friday. Chief Minister Dr Yadav was welcomed by the Sikh community with a saropa and a garland. Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that when we remember Guru Nanak, who cared for brotherhood in the society, took everyone along and instilled a sense of equality among people, our mind becomes delighted. People who follow and imbibe his messages in the true sense reside in more than 200 countries of the world and are working to spread his goodness and his messages to the people. He said that his teachings and messages which pave the way for harmony and universal brotherhood for the entire humanity will continue to guide us for ages.
 
“Guru Nanak raised a strong voice against the atrocities and social evils. His messages were widely accepted by the people. He brought the society together, especially by taking along mothers and sisters, to face the biggest challenges of foreign invasion.” CM Yadav said. Chief Minister Dr Yadav came out of the Guru Granth Darbar and paid obeisance to Nishan Sahib situated in the Gurudwara premises. He offered a garland to the Nishan Sahib flag post and bowed down. On this occasion, devotees from the Sikh community were also present. Chief Minister Dr Yadav congratulated the people of the state on Guru Nanak Jayanti and Prakash Parv. He said that Prakash Parv should be organised with pomp and grandeur in the state. The Chief Minister also invited the Sikh community to the programme to be organised at the Chief Minister’s residence on November 17 on the occasion of Prakash Parv.
