In a shocking incident, a 19-year-old teenager, identified as Vikas Valmiki, committed suicide by jumping in front of a train at the Bhadbhada railway line in Bhopal’s Sukhi Sevania area on Thursday night. The police were informed, and the body was recovered from the railway tracks. According to the police, Vikas was a resident of Kurwai in Vidisha district and was working as a cleaner at a printing press in Bhopal. He was living in a rented accommodation near the Koka Hanuman temple. The police investigation revealed that Vikas had uploaded an objectionable video on his social media account before taking his own life. The video featured a young woman, and the police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the video and its connection to Vikas’s death.

The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter. The body was handed over to the family after a post-mortem examination on Friday afternoon. The police stated that Vikas’s family had been searching for him, and they had reported him missing. The family members had also shown his photo to the locals and shopkeepers in the area, but no one had any information about his whereabouts. The police investigation revealed that Vikas had been struggling with depression and was deeply affected by his mother’s death five months ago. He had become withdrawn and was not interacting with his family members. The police are exploring all angles, including the possibility of a love affair gone wrong, but so far, no suicide note has been found.

The investigation is ongoing, and the police are working to piece together the events leading up to Vikas’s tragic death. This incident highlights the importance of mental health awareness and the need for support systems to be in place for young people struggling with depression and other mental health issues. It is a tragic reminder of the devastating consequences of untreated mental health problems and the importance of seeking help when needed.
