Four-day Agrovision expo in Dabha from Nov 22

WITH the aim of providing farmers in Vidarbha access to new agricultural technologies and alliedbusinesses,enabling them to increase their income and make farming more profitable, theAgrovisionAgriculturalExpo, conceived by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, will commence onNovember 22 atPDKV,Dabha grounds. Agrovision, featuring a national agricultural expo,workshops for farmers, and one-day conferences, is in its final stage of preparations. The grand opening will take place at 10.30 am on November 22,withChiefMinisterofMadhya Pradesh Mohan Yadav, as the chief guest; Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandra Babu Naidu as guest of honour, the function will be presidedoverby the chief patron of Agrovision, UnionMinisterNitinGadkari, in the presence of Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Union Minister of Fisheries,AnimalHusbandryand Dairying; Alka Upadhyaya, Secretary,DepartmentofAnimal Husbandry andDairying,Arvind Kumar, DG, STPI, Minesh Shah, Chairman NDDB, Minesh Bandlish, MDMother Dairy, Deepak Shah, Crop Care Federation, TRKesvan, Group President - Corporate Relations & Alliances, TAFE Tractors, Vikram Wagh, CEO, Farm Div. Mahindra Tractors. “Approximately 11,000 square meters of hangers and 6,000 square meters of open-ground stalls have been set up for the expo, which will include three halls for workshops and one hall for special workshops.
 
The previous edition of Agrovision receiveda tremendous response from farmers and agriculturerelated people. This year, for the 15th editionofAgrovision,a similar enthusiasmis expected,with over 400 companies confirming theirparticipation,”Agrovision’s Organizing Secretary Ravi Boratkar said in the press conference on Monday.
 
This year, UPL is the main sponsor of Agrovision. Tractor companies like TAFE, Kubota, Mahindra Tractors, Sonalika, John Deere, andTirth Agro, seed companieslikeAnkurSeeds,Ajit Seeds, Mahabeej, Rasi Seeds, Mahico, Nizhuvedu Seeds, and tire companies like BKTTires,JK Tires,cropinputcompaniessuch as ITC, Dhanuka, Crystal Crop Care, Sulphur Mills, Parijat Industries, PI Industries, drone companieslikeGaruda,Thanos, R Fly Innovation, Rucha Machinery, and IoTech World, irrigation companies likePlasto, Jain Irrigation, Paras Group, Netafim, Raoulis, along with companies in the solar sector, and banking companies such as NABARD, SBI, Canara Bank, Punjab National Bank, SEDB, NCBX, and research institutions like ICAR, NBSS&LUP, and IIT Kharagpur,VNIT Nagpur, PDKV Akola, and MAFSU will also be participating.
