He shared that Mother Dairy currently collects five lakh liters of milk everyday from local farmers and envisioned a future where this number increases to one crore liters. Achieving such a target, he asserted, would ensure no farmer in Vidarbha resorts to suicide. In his address, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav spoke about a cow-based economy, proposing that farmers should raise calves instead of distributing cows indiscriminately. He explained that this approach would improve milk productivity and foster a sustainable agricultural economy. At the outset, Organising Secretary Ravi Boratkar emphasized Agrovision’s mission to empower farmers and highlighted key sessions on dairy, orange production, and IT in agriculture. The programme concluded with the release of a directory listing all participants and a vote of thanks by Dr C D Mayee.
