MIG blocks at 12 number project to be completed till Dec 31

Municipal Commissioner Harendra Narayan inspected the 12 number stop housing project under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and directed to complete the work of 03 blocks of MIG houses by 30 December 2024 and hand over possession. Corporation Commissioner Narayan directed to complete the work for MIG, LIG and EWS category houses within the stipulated time limit and also warned that if the work is not completed within the stipulated time limit, a penalty will be imposed on the concerned contractor. During this, Corporation Commissioner Narayan also discussed with the residents and beneficiaries of the 12 number housing project. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana on Friday and obtained detailed information regarding the number of MIG, LIG and EWS houses under construction here and the period of completion of the work and the updated status of various works. Corporation Commissioner Narayan also interacted with the residents and beneficiaries of housing project number 12 and also assured to take action to resolve the works / problems informed by them as soon as possible. Municipal Commissioner Narayan directed to complete the work of MIG 03 blocks in housing project number 12 by 30 December 2024 at all costs and hand over possession. He directed to build a panel room at the project site. Corporation Commissioner Narayan directed to complete the construction of MIG, LIG and EWS houses within the stipulated time period and also warned that if the work is not completed within the stipulated time period, a penalty will be imposed on the concerned contractor.

 

It was informed that 216 houses have been built in 03 blocks of MIG category at the project site, while 576 houses are being built in 08 blocks of LIG houses and 432 houses are being built in 09 blocks of EWS category. The work of 01 block of MIG housing is almost complete at the project site, while only some work including finishing is remaining in the second and third blocks of MIG. The work of 01 block of LIG housing will be completed by March 2025 and the work of 02 other blocks will be completed by April and May. The Corporation Commissioner was informed that the work of EWS Block 01 will be completed by April and Block 02 by May 2025. Electricity related works will be completed by 15 December 2024 and other works including lift will be completed by 30 December 2024. Municipal Commissioner Narayan directed to increase the pace of work and complete the remaining works within the time limit.
