After the tumult
At the shoreline --
Jostling, hustling,
Wrestling, writhing,
Heaving and hissing,
Sighing and nighing
And sinking
Into soft sands --
In themselves merge
The ocean waves !
 

 
Beyond those layers
Is the sea
Deep and pacified,
Meditating,
Looking inward,
Feeling His self,
Sensing the throb within !
On those
Settled waters
Sail the ships --
Of hope,
Of promise,
Of destinations
In distance --
Invited by fate
And passion !
Beneath
May lie
The rest eternal --
Who knows !
