Manganese Ore India Limited (MOIL) rallied beautifully as they went on to beat newly promoted Al Fateh 3-1 in the JSW NDFA Elite Division Football Tournament.
Al Fateh took a surprising lead in the 8th minute when Prem Teja timed his jump well to score the opening goal of the match.
However, that was the only moment they could celebrate as the minemen scored two goals in the first half and one more in the second to record a huge win.
Vijay Admache levelled the score in the 21st minute and then Khemraj Katlam put MOIL ahead for the first time in the match soring in 24th.
Ankit Yadav then scored MOIL’s third goal in the 79th minute as they earned three points from their sixth match to move to fifth on the points table.
Al Fateh are at the ninth spot in the 10-team competition.
Qidwai are at the bottom of the table with just one point from five games.
Defending champions Rabbani are leading the chart with 16 points from five wins and a draw. They are followed by Young Muslim Football Club (12 points), Ansar Club (10) and IFFC (8). Top four teams will qualify for the Super League.
In senior division, Mecosabagh FC defeated Young Boys by three goals to one.
