Skaters of Central India Public School (CIPS) Kamptee Branch have been selected in the district team which will participate in the 34th Maharashtra State Roller Hockey Championship. The championship will take place from November 8 to 10 at Meenatai Thakre Stadium, Nigdi, Pune. The Nagpur District Roller Skating Association (NDRSA) affiliated to Skating Association of Maharashtra (SAM) and the Roller Skating Federation of India (RSFI) conducted district-level roller hockey trials. The six students were selected into two age categories. In U-11 boys. Om M Shelke and Sparsh U Pethe while in U-14 age category, Veer V Jaiswal, Vedant R Kumbhare, Jay Bawankule and Vedanshu Ingole have been selected. The achievement is a result of skaters’ dedication, hard work and passion for skating. Director Mr Pravin Tiwari and Principal Aruna Rao congratulated the selected students and wished them best for the competition. The skaters were coached by Amit Meshram.
