THE gold and silver rates
have fallen from their
record highs on
November 2. Gold price
has fallen to Rs 78,900 per
10 grams from its record
high at Rs 80,200 per 10
grams,adecline of Rs
1,300 per 10 grams. While
silver price was quoted at
Rs 95,000 per kg as compared to its recent high of
Rs 1 lakh per kg, a fall of
Rs 5,000 per kg in the city
jewellery market.

Gold and silver prices are
without 3 per cent Goods
and Services Tax (GST).
Similarly, the 22 karat
gold was quoted at Rs
78,400 per 10 grams, 18
karat gold at Rs 61,500 per
10 grams and 14 karat
gold at Rs 51,300 per 10
grams.
Accordingly, the purchase price of gold for 24
karat was at 77,900 per 10
grams, 22 karat at Rs
71,400 per 10 grams, 18
karat at Rs 59,500 per 10
grams and 14 karat at Rs
49,300 per 10 grams.
