Special camps organised at old age homes in district for issuing Ayushman cards

Special camps were organised in various old age homes across the district to create Ayushman cards for senior citizens over the age of 70. On November 4, camps were held at Apna Ghar Old Age Home, Rohit Nagar, Yashoda Old Age Home, Anand Dham Old Age Home, Elder First Old Age Home, Apna Ghar Old Age Home Indrapuri, and Nellore Old Age Home.
 
Dr Prabhakar Tiwari, Chief Medical and Health Officer of Bhopal, stated that in consideration of the special medical needs of the elderly, the process of issuing Ayushman cards is being conducted in mission mode. The work of creating cards for seniors over 70 living in various old age homes in the district is ongoing. Previously, the Health Department had also conducted special health check-up camps in these old age homes. It is estimated that Ayushman cards will be issued to over 200,000 beneficiaries above the age of 70 in the district.
