Class 8 student from Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Civil Lines, did her school and State proud by clinching a medal at the recently held SGFI National Fencing Championship in Jammu. Shrawani represented Maharashtra in Under-14 category, leaving an indelible mark with her exceptional performance. Shrawani played in both individual and team events, demonstrating grit, skill, and determination to help her team clinch the third place in the competition. This isn’t Shrawani’s first brush with national-level success. Last year, she represented her school as part of the CBSE national kho-kho team, showcasing her versatility and deep passion for sports. Her accomplishments were celebrated by her school and her family. Principal Leena Varghese, along with the staff, congratulated Shrawani on her achievement.
