Under the aegis of Headquarters Madhya Bharat Area, the Army Skill Training Centre (ASTC) in Jabalpur hosted a certificate felicitation ceremony to honour participants who completed courses under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY). The event was graced by Rajlaxmi Shekhawat, Zonal President, Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA), Madhya Bharat Area. Certificates were awarded to 51 women who successfully completed the Assistant Beauty Therapist (ABT), Self-Employed Tailoring (SET), and Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) courses. These courses are part of efforts to empower women through skill development and support regional economic growth.

 

In her address, Rajlaxmi Shekhawat emphasized the importance of skill training for women’s empowerment and self-reliance. She highlighted that such programs provide women with opportunities to build new careers and contribute to society. Further, regional coordinator of Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) informed about the job opportunities and schemes for women empowerment.
