Gold ornaments worth Rs 10.06 lakh stolen in Hudkeshwar area

 

 

 

Gold ornaments worth Rs 10.06 lakh were stolen from a house in the Hudkeshwar police station area. According to the police, Rajendra Pandurang Dahikar (63), a resident of Plot No 37, Adiwasi Nagar, Uday Nagar Road, runs a shop on the ground floor and lives on the first floor of his house. On Sunday afternoon, he closed the shutter of his shop and went to sleep on the first floor.

 

A thief bent the shutter and broke into the house, stealing Rs 50,000 in cash and gold ornaments. The theft happened between 1 pm and 5.45 pm. When Dahikar realised the theft, he immediately filed a complaint. The Hudkeshwar police have registered a case under the provisions of BNS, and the investigation is ongoing.
