Goenka-Mohta bounces back to enter final

 

SHRAVAN Mohta and Mithlesh Goenka bounced back brilliantly in the Eliminator Round to qualify for the final of the on-going Central Provinces Club’s Adv MK Naidu Memorial Snicket Tournament. In the Eliminator round, the Mohta-Goenka pair ousted Abhishek Jain-Ashish Sharma in the best of three format battle. Having lost the Qualifier to Jatin Kale-Yogesh Padole, Goenka-Mohta scored 104 against which Jain-Sharma could not even open their innings and lost the match. In the second match, Goenka-Mohta potted first and posted a score 258 which included a single break of 105 points by Mohta. Jain-Sharma were then able to score 135 points.
