BMC to act against illegal marriage gardens

 

 

Prompt action should be ensured against illegal colonies, illegal constructions and marriage gardens operating without license. Mayor Malti Rai gave instructions to officials while reviewing the building permit branch. While reviewing the building permit branch, directed that prompt action should be taken against illegal colonies as per rules and also directed to survey the marriage gardens in seven days and ensure action against marriage gardens operating without license. The Mayor also directed to take prompt action against illegal constructions as per rules. During the review, Mayor Council member Anand Agarwal, City Investor C P Goyal and other officials of the Building Permission Branch were present. Mayor Malti Rai reviewed the building permit branch of the corporation in the meeting hall of the Mayor’s office located at ISBT on Wednesday.

 

During the review, Mayor Rai received detailed information on the action being taken against illegal colonies, illegally operated marriage gardens and illegal constructions, as well as other works of the Building Permission Branch. Mayor Rai gave instructions to ensure prompt action against illegal colonies. Mayor Rai gave instructions to survey the marriage gardens within seven days, and to take prompt action against marriage gardens operated without license. Mayor Rai directed to ensure prompt action as per rules against other illegal constructions, including constructions done against the building permission.
